Monday

Well, it is Monday, and Mr. Wilson is back! Hopefully he will be able to tell me how to make the sound quality of my narration better, or at least get rid of the gross mouth noises... we shall have to see what happens.

Sound Recording Beta Phase

I have finished my sound recording for the documentary, however, the microphone picked up all the gross noises your mouth makes when it talks, so I am not entirely sure how well it will work.... To make sure it works as well as it can i will attempt to write a new script over the weekend to make it flow better than the meh level of flow it has. I really hope that it will work....

Voice Recording

Today I will be attempting to finish my voice recording in the squeaky floored, microphone free sound room. Yay. If it doesn't work today then all of tomorrow will be the recording of the voice... will the wonders cease to amaze?

Working on das Documentary

Managed to get nearly 30 minutes of footage last night. Only downside is that its pretty grainy, as apparently camcorders suck at actually camcordering. Oh well. Today will be all about going through and putting in footage so the documentary can have any sort of length.

Shotophopping

Today I have finished photoshopping a logo that was low quality so that it could be incorporated in the documentary. This has shown me the wonders of the magnetic lasso tool, and is making some pretty cool pictures.

Video Finding

Today I am searching youtube for footage of wars and combat to involve in my documentary. I shall make sure to credit everyone whose footage I use, and hope that this will allow me to add some interesting things to my documentary.

My name is Skylen Fail, a native of Santa Cruz, California. I am 15 and am currently enrolled in the video production class at Santa Cruz High. Pre production begins

Today I begin pre production, working on titles, storyboards, and base animations for my project. I have completed my first animation which will be in the documentary and an animated opener. Approval of a storyboard should happen today, and next Thursday i can begin my filming for this subject.

11/19/13: Introduction

We are beginning our documentary today, entitled "Anachronism". This documentary will be a look into the Society for Creative Anachronism, or SCA, a historical re-enactment group. Today we begin our storyboard, so that pre-production can begin.
